Jacqui Thomas Bowling Tournament

Last Friday, 3rd May 2024, in the morning, Jacqui Thomas met with Laura, affectionately known as England Laura, a staff member at Sunrise2Sunrise, for a productive unpacking session. This was followed by a trip to the Salvation Army to donate items.

Their day took a delightful turn as they indulged in coffee and scones at the local shopping centre. During this cozy outing, Laura sparked a friendly debate about how to layer scones – jam first or cream.

Fast-forward to Sunday, May 5th, Jacqui is accompanied by Laura as she heads to her special Olympic bowling tournament in Geelong.

Laura’s unwavering support and encouragement prove invaluable as Jacqui competes and emerges victorious in her division. Though she can’t stay for the presentation ceremony, the day’s triumph leaves a lasting impression.

Jacqui extends her heartfelt thanks to John for organising Laura’s assistance throughout the weekend. With Laura’s friendship and support, Jacqui awaits her next challenge on May 19th at Zone Forest Hill.
