At Sunrise2Sunrise, every project tells a story of connection and care. Recently, Rob, a dedicated support worker at Sunrise2Sunrise, and Chris, a long-time participant, embarked on a project: building a wooden structure for a Mother Mary statue.
Over a few weeks, they worked side by side, each cut of wood bringing them closer to their goal. As the structure took shape, so did their bond.
The final piece looked stunning, but the pride on Chris and Andrea’s faces truly shone. For Rob, seeing Chris’s confidence grow throughout the project was a real achievement, filling him with pride.
